We are local family business based in Upminster, Essex. We have been trading since 1997.
The founder David Bone has always had a love of wood and carpentry and was very excited when plantation shutters became popular. We have been fitting shutters now for many years. We have researched the market in relation to suppliers and have forged great partnerships with the best manufacturers in the UK.
We do not have a showroom which means that we don’t have costly overheads – these savings can be passed onto you – our customers. We pride ourselves on being great value for money and have a price promise that we will not be beaten on any like for like products.
Superior Shutters is a division of David Bone Interiors which has been trading for over 30 years.
How we work
When we receive an enquiry from you, we will make an appointment to come and visit you in your home or during the current climate due to Covid19 you can give us your rough measurements. Then either David or George, the owners of the business, will visit you and take basic measurements of your windows or use your measurements provided and can then quote you a price for your shutters which includes fitting. If we are within your budget, we will then arrange to do a site survey and measure accurately.
Installation
Your shutters will be fitted by the owners of the company, George and David. No subcontractors are used. David or George will have measured up your windows and this eliminates any errors. All finishing is included within our price. After installation if you have any questions you can speak directly to us.
